Delicious & AuthenticAfter living in Japan for a couple of years, milk tea was one of the things I missed a lot after returning to the US. This powdered mix tastes exactly like what I expected (although not quite as good as what I got fresh from a cafe). I recommend using hot milk instead of water.5Good cup of tea!Wow, I love this stuff. I had been drinking sundays 3in1 mix packet (good but really sweet, needs 10 oz of water) and royal Myanmar 3in1 mix packet (a bit bitter, needs 8 oz of water) and this is by far the best. I dont think any are a good value per se but it's on par price wise with using a Keurig k cup. I usually make an 8 or 10 oz cup of hot water in the keurig and put a heaping spoonful of this. I would say this is my fav, right amount of sweetness and its black tea. I think the other brands I mentioned are green tea. I highly recommend trying this. I do wish it was a little cheaper. I like it because it's more economical this way, and also that I can add more or less depending on how sweet I want it to be. I love the strong black tea flavor. I put 2 slightly rounded teaspoons ( the ordinary ones from your silverware set, not measuring spoons) to my 13 oz coffee mug and this is just right for my taste buds. I wish it came in a bigger bag, because this is now my go to for the morning, afternoon and evening. It works out as being much less expensive than getting drive through coffees. This is nuts.5DeliciousThis is the closest-tasting to the canned stuff. Depending on your water to powder ratio it's sweet, but not too sweet with a tasty darjeeling black tea flavor. I drink this on the days I don't feel like having coffee on. My only complaint is that it's kinda pricey for how much you get.5Real Japanese Royal Milk Tea Is Worth The WaitThis is the closest thing to the real Royal Milk Tea I had in Japan that I have had! I am so happy to have found this. The instructions are in Japanese, but from what I can tell you want to use 1.5 tbs (4 teaspoons) of powder to 8-10 oz of hot water. I also don't believe it has caffeine--I checked with Google translate and couldn't find the kanji/kana for caffeine anywhere on the back or front, but I could be wrong.The only con is that the shipping took 48 days to arrive--I ordered the item on 1/31 and didn't receive it until 3/19. I'm not sure what the holdup was--I also didn't see any complaints in the reviews in regards to this. Maybe I was an edge case.5
