Well worth the moneyI'm 6' 2''. 290 lbs. Size Large. Arthritic right knee. Bone on bone. Got a floater gives me some aggravation occasionally. This is my 2nd support from Futuro this style. Other finally wore out after several years use.It gives me more substantial support and yet is more comfortable all day than any other support I have tried. Recommended. 5Great support!Excellent knee brace with great support!I have 2, 1 for each knee (lucky me). These are comfortable enough to cover long distances. As a cyclist, I am able to wear them for 100+ miles without worrying about them falling down.They are moisture controlling to a certain degree. On a hot day or long event, you will sweat and it will soak the brace.Any light-moderate exercise will keep you dry and comfortable. 5seems to work greatBoth my knees are problematic and sometimes painful due to old past injuries. Because of this I ordered this Futuro knee support and the Tru-Fit Aerated Knee Brace at the same time. In this review I'll compare both and tell you which I think is better.The Futuro support is the best one because it slips on easily and has 2 adjustment straps to make it tighter if you wish. As soon as you slip it on it feels comfortable and supportive even before you use the 2 straps. My knee circumference is 16" and I ordered a medium. This size is supposed to be for 15"-17" and perhaps that's why it fits me perfectly. If your knee is larger or smaller you may need a different size such as small or large.The Tru-Fit says 1 size fits all. That may be true but they forgot to mention that 1 size may not fit comfortably. It does feel comfortable at first but after 1-2 hours or less it starts to dig in and feel uncomfortable. Not so with the Futuro. It seems that the Futuro can be worn comfortably all day. Unlike the Tru-Fit, the Futuro feels light and airy but also firm, supportive and comfortable. I tested the Futuro by wearing it for about 3-4 hours. It was so comfortable that I barely knew I was wearing it. The real test will be when I use it to play tennis. After I do I'll update this review and let everyone know how it holds up. I also plan to test it while using a treadmill and exercise bike. I already tested the Tru-Fit and it just felt a little too bulky and uncomfortable when worn for more than an hour.In my opinion the Futuro is the more professionally made knee support that's easier to put on and much more comfortable. Since my left knee is worse than my right knee I plan to use the Futuro on my left knee. I'm even considering getting a 2nd one for my right knee because the Tru-Fit support is less comfortable in the long run (no pun intended). 5Works well I'm sure if I had ordered the right size.Comes a little on the bigger size. I'm a bigger guy and normally have to wear XL stuff for my legs but now I wish I would have gotten a size L instead. Most likely will purchase another one in the correct size 5EXCELLENT FIT - EXCELLENT SUPPORTLong term steroid use (anti-rejection regimen following kidney transplant) has decimated my joints.Joint replacement is not an option for an immunosupressed person like myself, so the approach must be to fix an essentially mechanical problem with a mechanical, but non-invasive solution.After many supports and braces tried in the past, this one is offering adequate support while maintaining my remaining mobility.It is comfortable and even in the heat of the summer, sweating seems to be a non-issue.Futuro has always offered a good product and a good value, and this is no exception.It is a good product at a good price.As an aside: Thanks again to Amazon for their often amazing performance in packaging and delivery in a prompt manner. Thanks Amazon.CARPE DIEM 5Nice, reasonable brace for patellar controlI bought this, along with the regular (non-moisture control) knee support and this is far better for running, IMO. I wear this over my running tights and while the tights are wet, I don't feel the sweat or cold around my knee. However, if I touch the outside of this brace, it's soaked with sweat. I tried the all-black, non-wicking brace from the same company and my knee felt wet and cold the entire run.Since I wear this over my tights, the top does slip down and I have to pull it up once or twice during a run, no big deal to me. This is a sleeve that you have to slip your foot through then pull up to desired spot. There is a velcro closure on the top and bottom to secure the brace in place. All parts of the brace are soft, no hardware. I wash this, with the velcro fastened, in a delicates laundry bag, in my washing machine on the regular cycle at least weekly and have done this for about 5 weeks, no problems and no hand washing for me.BTW, I wear this for pain control mainly. I have a partially torn lateral meniscus that aches a mile into my runs and I found this brace really diminishes that pain, although doesn't remove it entirely. 5Sizing AlertThis knee support would probably provide decent support... if it wasn't too big. But Futuro doesn't provide detailed sizing information on Amazon, so you should know this (from the box):* Measure around your knee while in a standing positionSmall: 13 - 15 in. (33 - 38.1 cm.)Medium: 15 - 17 in. (38.1 - 43.2 cm.)Large: 17 - 19 in. (43.2 - 48.3 cm.)X-Large: 19 - 22 in. (48.3 - 55.9 cm.) 3We measured his knee at 17 inches and an extra large fits good. This is his second one of this style ...I bought this brace for my husband. He has natural knee joint deterioration (nearly bone on bone now) and this brace works well for him. It doesn't provide as much support as others, but he really likes the fact that it allows a lot of mobility, it fits well under clothes, and there is not too much fabric in the back causing bunching and crimping. There was discrepancy in the other reviews regarding the fit of this brace. The fit was true for him. We measured his knee at 17 inches and an extra large fits good. This is his second one of this style and the first lasted quite awhile. A good value. 5Good For Occasional DiscomfortUpon first using this brace, it doesn't appear to have enough support but it actually does pretty good. I like how it's slim and not bulky. There is good ventilation behind the knee. I don't like sliding the brace to put in on because it involves removal of shoes which is less convenient. The brace seems to run large and sometimes slides down the top of my knee. I am 5'3" 115 lbs and the small (which is the smallest available size) is still larger than I'd like. If you're in between sizes I'd go with the smaller one. 3Great supportInjured my knee trying to Zumba. Now wear this wonderful support any time I walk distances or golf. It is easy to put on and take off, gives good support to knee, wicks moisture/sweat. Knee measured 17 inches which is "top" measurement of medium, and "bottom" measure of large. I bought both. The large kept slipping down, so am wearing the medium which works great. 5
