  • PUNCTURE-RESISTANT THERMOPLASTIC: The Dynarex Sharps Container is made from rigid, puncture-resistant thermoplastic. This helps to prevent hypodermic needlestick injuries and stops sharp needles from breaking through the wall of the container.
  • TRANSLUCENT LID: The lid is translucent, white, red, and lets the user monitor the contents of the container which helps to avoid overfilling. Overfilling these kinds of containers can become dangerous depending on the materials disposed.
  • MULTI-USE CONTAINER: The container is designed for the disposal of various pieces of medical waste such as needles, syringes, lancets, and auto-injecting pens. Commonly used in EMS, hospitals, nursing homes, and can even be used in your own home.
  • CONVENIENT DISPOSAL: Each biohazard container is designed for an easy disposal of each needle due to the large opening on the lid. The large opening accepts needles and syringes horizontally which maximizes container volume.
  • LOCKING MECHANISM: A counterbalanced opening automatically closes once needles are dropped into the container. However, you can permanently lock your sharps container by applying pressure to the right and left corners of the lid until a snap is heard.
