• ORGANIC GENMAICHA FROM JAPAN - Genmaicha is a blend of Bancha with well-roasted brown rice, called Genmai. The rice adds a nutty taste and roasted aroma. It is popular in Japan as an everyday tea.
• AUTHENTIC JAPANESE GREEN TEA - Our Organic Genmaicha is a made from organic Sencha and organic roasted rice (Genmai) and popped rice. We have used our Organic Sencha in this blend which is normally not used for Genmaicha. It creates a premium version of popular Genmaicha. Origin: Shizuoka / Harvest: First Flush / Cultivar: Yabukita
• TASTING PROFILE OF ORGANIC GENMAICHA - This is a nice combination of good Umami from Sencha and toasted flavor from roasted organic rice.
• DENS PREFERRED BREWING - Leaf-water ratio: 2-3g(1 heaping tsp) per 4oz | Water: Boiled | Steep: 30 sec | 2nd Cup: Water Boiled; Steep 15 sec. For a cup of iced tea, Steep as directed for hot tea. Once you brew it, put ice into the cup to lock in the aroma.

ABOUT DEN'S TEA
Dens Tea is a subsidiary of Japanese tea manufacturer, Shirakata-Denshiro Shoten, Inc. (SDS). It was established to distribute a variety of authentic and, most important, fresh Japanese tea to the North American tea market. Most of Dens teas are grown in the prestigious growing regions of Shizuoka prefecture. They are processed and packaged under the direction of SDS. Dens Tea imports these premium teas directly from Shizuoka into California and, once in California, all teas are placed in a climate-controlled storage facility. Today, Dens Tea supplies tea to individual customers, cafes, restaurants, a major coffee chain, sweets and ice cream manufacturers, global distributors and grocery stores.
