There is nothing like the smell of basil, it is the smell of summer. There is no more useful herb. The SWEET GENOVESE BASIL has just that, a sweeter taste than other basils. It is a good all around basil and it has a great flavor profile. Sweet Genovese Basil can be used in most Italian foods such as soups and pasta dishes and sauces. This spice is grown, dried and packaged and from the current growing season. We air dry our basil for the best and freshest taste. This basil is ground to a fine powder. I also have LEAF basil available that I have CHOPPED to a consistency for a spice shaker which is great for dishes that you want great basil flavor with the obvious presence of leafly bits.
