Allard specializes in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of orthoses that are intended to support weak or injured parts of the forearm, wrist, thumb, and hand. They can also correct orthopedic malposition and are often adapted to meet special needs of individual patients. The range includes orthoses to meet various diagnoses such as contractures, fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, rheumatism, osteoarthritis, ligament injuries, sprains, after plaster casts, radial paresis, stroke, and rehabilitation.

The S.O.T (Smart Orthotic Treatment) line incorporates aluminum cores (stays) that are pre-shaped to anatomically fit the anatomy. They are easily re-shaped to adjust to desired functional and/or stabilization needs of the patient.

The material content of the hand orthoses is Polyester, Nylon and Spandex with a core of aluminum and polyethylene. The material content of the thumb orthoses is Nylon, Thermoplastic Polyurethane and Spandex with a core of aluminum and polyethylene.
