• Activheal Foam Heel wound dressing, is a sterile, non adhesive, anatomically shaped wound dressing consisiting of hydrophilic, absorbent, polyurethane foam, designd to absorb exudate. The outer layer of the dressing is a pink, low friction, waterproof, polyurethane film, which provides a bacterial barrier.
• Activheal Foam Heel wound dressing is ideal for use on heel, or similar anatomical areas.Activheal Foam Heel wound dressing may be used during the healing process and is indicated for the moderate to heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds and may be used throughout the healing process on the following wounds; pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, graft and donor sites, post operative surgical wounds, first and second degree burns, laceration and abrasions. The dressings may be used on cavity wounds as a secondary dressing. The dressing is suitable to be used under compression bandagging.
• Not made with natural rubber latex.
• Activheal Foam Heel wound dressing can in situ for upto 7 days, dependent on patient condition, the level of exudte.
